I had an amazing day at Tel Aviv Fashion week yesterday
My preview for A/W 2013 collection was
presented with Duende Knitwear by Adva Bruner
and I was excited like a little girl in a
Candy shop.
It is the second time that Tel Aviv City is
having an Israeli Fashion week, and it felt like watching a new baby learning
how to walk.
With an atmosphere of a friendly, artistic
neighborhood. Shows running late in oriental Jaffa time zone. I was so happy to
meet my school friends, my facebook friends and watch their creation walking
the Runway show.
Milan has one fashion week and so does Paris;
Tel Aviv now has two… designers sitting with their families in the Audience.
Establish designer who was there to support his students at the generation to
come…
French buyers who told me: everyone is so
smiling and talking here, this would never happened in Paris, and you know
what, I guess they are right.
The intimacy and the size of our fashion week
left a room for creative upcoming designers that would not be able to afford a
"real" fashion week show budget. And it was a great privilege to see
their work.
I was a proud to be a part of this Fashion
event and I am curious to see how the next Fashion weeks will grow and develop.
